Several months ago I came to Optimized Wellness and met with Amy because my psychiatrist recommended that I try bioidentical hormone replacement therapy. I had been struggling with what I thought was severe mental health issues for the previous year and a half and I was not responding to antidepressants that my primary doctor had prescribed me . In fact the antidepressants were making me very sick, and in the year and a half I had been on them I had dropped to 91 pounds, developed manic episodes , I lost 2 of my jobs and I was starting to lose my family because I was pushing everything and everyone away.
