Fatigue in Centennial, CO

Several months ago I came to Optimized Wellness and met with Amy because my psychiatrist recommended that I try bioidentical hormone replacement therapy. I had been struggling with what I thought was severe mental health issues for the previous year and a half and I was not responding to antidepressants that my primary doctor had prescribed me . In fact the antidepressants were making me very sick, and in the year and a half I had been on them I had dropped to 91 pounds, developed manic episodes , I lost 2 of my jobs and I was starting to lose my family because I was pushing everything and everyone away. I was so severely depressed and sick everyday that I decided to stop taking them and that's when I reached out to Optimized Wellness. Immediately upon meeting with Amy, I felt an extreme sense of peace and relief, and even hope. She explained so much to me about our hormones and after looking over my labs, I was definitely dealing with low levels of various things. I was finally getting some answers. My primary doctor that prescribed my antidepressants never once mentioned, that at 44 years old, I could be going through perimenopause. Amy came up with a plan for vitamin supplements as well as a hormone pellet to balance me out. I was feeling very suicidal and scared before I came to see her and she may have saved my life. Within a week I was feeling happy. I stopped crying everyday. I suddenly had lots of energy and clarity. My relationships and my job are now thriving. Also my hot flashes went away. It's absolutely amazing how getting the proper help can actually completely turn your life around. I am beyond thankful to Amy for her help. She's incredible. She's kind and knowledgeable and most importantly, she truly cares about helping her clients, and you can feel that from the moment you walk in the door and are welcomed by her and her sweet receptionist. I feel like I was picked up off the floor and given a second chance at life. I'm am so grateful.
