Frequently Asked Questions

Have questions about hormone optimization, medical weight loss, or peptide therapy at our Centennial, CO clinic? We have answered the most common ones below. If you do not see what you are looking for, contact us directly and a member of our team will be happy to help.

Getting Started

No referral is needed. You can contact us directly by phone or through our contact form to schedule your initial consultation.

Your first visit is a comprehensive clinical consultation covering your health history, current symptoms, and goals. If you have recent lab work we will review it together. If not, labs will be drawn at the time of your visit and reviewed at a follow-up appointment where your personalized protocol will be built and presented.

Optimized Wellness is a cash-pay practice. We do not bill insurance directly. Many patients find that the level of specialized, personalized care we provide is not available through insurance-based practices, and that the investment is well worth it. We can provide a superbill for reimbursement if desired, and our services are eligible for payment through HSA and FSA accounts.

Hormone Theraphy

The most reliable way to know is through lab work. Symptoms like fatigue, brain fog, low libido, mood changes, poor sleep, and unexplained weight gain can all point to hormonal imbalance, but labs give us the objective data we need to confirm it and build a precise protocol around your specific levels.

Bioidentical hormones are structurally identical to the hormones your body produces naturally. Traditional synthetic hormones are not. This distinction matters because bioidentical hormones are designed to work with your body’s existing hormone receptors, allowing for more precise dosing and a more natural response.

Most patients begin noticing meaningful improvements in energy, sleep, mood, and mental clarity within the first several weeks of starting treatment. Full results typically develop over the first two to three months as your levels stabilize.

We offer pellet therapy and custom-compounded hormone creams. Your provider will work with you to determine the delivery method that best fits your specific needs, lifestyle, and treatment goals.

Weight Loss

We take a clinical approach to weight loss that most programs simply do not offer. Rather than relying on diet plans and willpower alone, we address the biological and hormonal factors that make weight loss difficult in the first place. Our protocols combine prescription weight loss medications and peptide therapy under direct clinical supervision, with regular follow-up to monitor your progress and make adjustments as needed.

The medications used in our weight loss protocols have been extensively studied and are used under direct clinical supervision. Your provider will review your complete health history before recommending any medication to ensure it is the right fit for your situation. As with any prescription treatment, your provider will discuss what to expect, how to use it properly, and how to monitor your progress throughout the program.

Results vary based on your starting point, health history, protocol adherence, and individual biology. Every protocol we build is designed to deliver the most meaningful results possible for your specific situation, and we stay engaged throughout to keep your progress moving in the right direction.

Peptide Theraphy

Peptides are short chains of amino acids that act as signaling molecules in the body. When used therapeutically, they direct cells and tissues to perform specific functions including tissue repair, hormonal support, cellular regeneration, and metabolic improvement.

Peptide therapy can benefit a wide range of patients depending on their goals. During your consultation your provider will review your labs and health history to determine whether peptide therapy is appropriate for you and which protocol aligns best with your specific needs

Ozone Theraphy

Major autohemotherapy is the ozone delivery method we use at Optimized Wellness. A small amount of your blood is drawn, infused with medical-grade ozone, and reintroduced intravenously. It is a clinically established procedure administered under direct clinical supervision.

Not necessarily. Ozone therapy at Optimized Wellness is offered as an adjunct treatment and recommended only when it is appropriate for your specific health profile. Your provider will determine during your consultation whether it makes sense as part of your protocol.
